Refrigerated Trucking
Refrigerated trucking or shipping doesn’t have to be a freezing cold
experience.
The salmon must be fresh and the roses have to look as if they were
just cut right in the garden.
Your customers expect the very best and so should you.
Sometimes we take things like fresh food and flowers for granted.
Refrigerated shipping whether a full load or LTL {less than a truck
load} doesn’t have to be complicated.
If you are basing your business growth on just-in time refrigerated
transport of items then you may need refrigerated containers.
You will want to know when to hire a refrigerated carrier.
Maybe you will need an independent refrigerated truck driver.
Rent refrigerated trucks or refrigerated trucking companies.
There are many nationwide refrigerated trucking companies.
For example:
The RFX Companies, www.rfxinc.com has been in business since
1952.
RFX is one of the best sources I know of for providing refrigerated
trucking services.
RFX has built a solid business in the refrigerated trucking and flatbed
trucking industry (we will discuss flatbed trucking in that particular
area of this site.)
RFX refrigerated is a strong provider that lives by basic principles.
They are very customer oriented and financially sound.
Give them a look over or e-mail me
dfreeman@truckersresource.com and I will put you in touch with
them.
Another strong refrigerated carrier is Prime, inc www.primeinc.com.
I have watched Prime grow into not only a major force in refrigerated
trucking but also in the flatbed trucking industry.
Prime boasts itself as north America’s most successful refrigerated
trucking company.
Your needs may require cold storage.
Some companies have a warehouse for cold refrigerated goods. If
yours does not, then you may want to rent or lease a cold storage
space or container.
One such company that that rents portable cold storage or
refrigerated containers is Portable Cold Storag, Inc
www.portablecoldstorage.com.
You may even want to consider buying refrigerated equipment to
warehouse your own products temporarily.
Portable Cold Storage can help you there too.
The refrigerated services industry in the U.S. nets over $230,000.00 annually.
That is a lot of freezer space!
Some refrigerated storage is even underground.
Finally, when choosing which refrigerated service is right for you, do
your homework.
One of the best sites I know of is Business.com.
